Website prices in Israel in 2026, by type of site

Price depends mostly on the type of site: a landing page is the cheapest, a 5–7 page brochure site sits in the middle, and large sites with integrations or online stores cost the most.

The table combines the ranges published in public Israeli price lists with our own price and build time. The ranges are wide because each price list defines a "brochure site" differently: for one it is five pages from a template, for another it is a site written from scratch with content and SEO. Compare what you get, not only the number.

Wix vs. a freelancer vs. an agency: what each costs in Israel

A builder like Wix costs about ₪50–₪200 a month, a freelancer typically charges ₪3,000–₪12,000 one-time, and a traditional agency ₪15,000–₪40,000, according to Israeli price surveys.

Each route pays for something different. With Wix you pay for the tool and do the design, writing and SEO yourself. Freelancer price and quality vary a lot from person to person. Agencies charge more because several specialists work on the project, sometimes with high overheads. There is also a monthly subscription model that bundles the build and maintenance.

RoutePrice (per source)What you actually pay forFits
Wix or WordPress, do-it-yourself₪50–₪200/monthA tool subscription; the work is yoursVery small budgets with spare time
Freelancer₪3,000–₪12,000 one-timeOne person builds; maintenance not always includedSimple sites, after checking past work
Developer hourly rates₪150–₪400/hour; agency ₪300–₪700/hourActual hoursChanges and loosely defined projects
Traditional agency₪15,000–₪40,000 one-timeA team and a longer processCompanies with complex requirements
All-inclusive monthly plan₪190–₪890/monthA payment every month while the site is liveBusinesses avoiding a large upfront cost
Nava Digital₪2,500–₪15,000 one-time; most businesses ₪2,500–₪4,000A site coded from scratch; maintenance optionalSmall and mid-sized businesses, Hebrew and Arabic

When you compare, calculate the cost over several years, not only the build. A ₪300 monthly plan looks cheap, but after three years it adds up to ₪10,800. The three-year table below shows the full picture.

What does a ₪2,500 website at Nava Digital include?

For ₪2,500 you get a brochure site built from scratch, mobile-friendly, with basic SEO, a business email address and connections to WhatsApp and Google Analytics.

It is not a template file and not a WordPress site with dozens of plugins. We code the site from scratch, so it loads fast and has no plugins that break on every update. Every site includes titles and descriptions for Google, Schema markup, a contact form, a WhatsApp button and an SSL certificate, and at the end we submit it to Google Search Console so Google discovers it.

The usual timeline is 7 to 14 working days from the moment we receive texts, photos and a logo. Split into 12 instalments, a ₪2,500 site comes to less than ₪210 a month. Not included: extensive copywriting, professional photography, systems such as online booking (₪2,500) and ongoing SEO (₪900 a month). Each is quoted separately before we start.

What affects the price of a website?

Six things set most of the price: the number of pages, the languages, the systems you connect, who writes the content, the level of SEO, and whether you are replacing an existing site.

Visual design affects the price less than people expect. What makes a site expensive is work: every page needs content, every language is another full version of the site, and every system needs integration and testing.

  • Number of pages: one page, five pages or dozens of service pages. A five-page site sits at the bottom of the range.
  • Languages: Hebrew only, or Arabic and English too. A bilingual site is close to two sites, with correct hreflang for Google.
  • Systems: online booking, payments, CRM or WhatsApp integration.
  • Content: if you supply texts and photos the job is shorter; if we write and plan pages around what people search for, it is extra work.
  • SEO: basic SEO is included. Ongoing SEO, including GEO (showing up in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers), is a separate ₪900/month service.
  • Existing site: replacing an old site gets 20% off, but URLs must be migrated properly so rankings are not lost.

Total cost of a website in Israel over 3 years

Over three years, a Nava Digital brochure site costs about ₪3,800–₪7,900 without a maintenance plan, or about ₪10,900–₪15,100 with the Basic plan, including domain and hosting at market prices.

The build is only part of the cost. The domain and hosting are paid yearly to outside providers, not to us, and maintenance is optional. The table uses market prices from Israeli price surveys: a .co.il domain at about ₪62–₪96 a year and shared hosting at about ₪360–₪1,200 a year.

ItemPer yearOver 3 years
Brochure site build (Nava, one-time)—₪2,500–₪4,000
.co.il domain (paid to the registrar)₪62–₪96₪186–₪288
Hosting (paid to the hosting provider)₪360–₪1,200₪1,080–₪3,600
Total without maintenance₪3,766–₪7,888
Maintenance Basic, ₪199/month (optional)₪2,388₪7,164
Maintenance Elite, ₪499/month (optional)₪5,988₪17,964
Maintenance Max, ₪1,450/month, with SEO and a weekly Google Analytics report₪17,400₪52,200

For comparison, using the same sources: DIY Wix comes to ₪1,800–₪7,200 over 3 years (₪50–₪200/month, excluding your own time); an all-inclusive monthly plan to ₪6,840–₪32,040 (₪190–₪890/month); and an agency to ₪15,000–₪40,000 for the build plus maintenance of ₪250–₪2,000 a month according to Israeli price surveys. Does a business website in Israel have to be accessible? (Israeli Standard 5568)

A website that provides a service to the public in Israel generally must meet Israeli Standard 5568 and publish an accessibility statement; a VAT-exempt business (עוסק פטור) is exempt.

The duty comes from the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. According to Kol Zchut, the site operator is liable, not the company that built it. After a notice of a violation the operator has 60 days to fix it; otherwise it faces compensation of up to ₪50,000 without proof of damage, a criminal fine of about ₪150,000, and an order from the Equal Rights Commission.

Turnover-based exemptions are listed on Kol Zchut's exemptions page: a VAT-exempt business is fully exempt; average annual turnover under ₪120,000 gives a renewable 3-year exemption; turnover of ₪120,000–₪1,000,000 exempts only sites launched before 26.10.2017, so a new site must be accessible. Above ₪1 million you apply to the Commission.

In practice we ask about your business status during the diagnosis, and if accessibility applies, it is planned and priced from the start. An accessibility widget alone does not make a site compliant, because the standard covers the code, forms and images as well. This is general information, not legal advice.

VAT in Israel: how to compare website quotes correctly

Most Israeli suppliers quote before VAT, so add 18% to a quote from a VAT-registered business (עוסק מורשה).

Ask every supplier for the final amount you will pay, including VAT if any, and for every recurring payment: hosting, domain, plugin licences and maintenance. We split the build into up to 12 instalments and show all running costs in numbers before we start.

How much does a website redesign cost, and what happens to Google rankings?

Replacing an old site gets 20% off at Nava Digital, and the move includes 301 redirects from the old URLs so existing rankings are preserved.

The real risk in replacing a site is not the design but the URLs. If a page Google knows changes its address without a redirect, its ranking disappears and visitors land on an error page. Before the switch we list the existing pages, keep URLs that work, and add permanent (301) redirects for those that change.

After launch we submit a new sitemap to Google Search Console and watch for errors in the first weeks. A small temporary dip in traffic can happen even with a correct migration, so nobody can promise identical rankings. Without this planning, though, the damage can be much larger.

8 questions to ask before you sign with a web designer

Before signing, ask for written answers to these eight questions; a serious supplier answers them easily.

  1. What is the final price, and does it include VAT?
  2. Which recurring payments exist (hosting, domain, plugins, maintenance) and how much is each?
  3. Are the content, the domain and the Google accounts (Analytics, Search Console) connected to the business's own accounts?
  4. How many revision rounds are included, and what does a change cost after launch?
  5. Is the site built from a template or coded from scratch, and how many plugins does it use?
  6. Does the site need to meet the accessibility standard, and who is responsible for it?
  7. What is the timeline, and what do you need from me and when?
  8. Can I see two real live sites you built and test them on my phone?

Red flags in a website quote

A quote with no breakdown, a promise of first place on Google, and a mandatory subscription that is never explained are the three most common signs to look twice.

  • A promise of first place on Google: nobody controls the algorithm.
  • One price with no breakdown: unclear scope means every addition costs extra.
  • A mandatory monthly fee without explanation: know what it pays for and what happens if you stop.
  • No real work to show: screenshots only, no link to a live site.
  • No mention of accessibility or mobile loading speed.
  • A very low price for a large site: usually a ready-made template with new colours.

How long does it take to build a website?

A brochure site takes us 7–14 working days from receiving texts, photos and a logo; a landing page 3–7 working days, and an online store 2–4 weeks.

The real timeline depends mostly on content. If everything is ready, the site goes live quickly; if content must be written from scratch or photos are late, it takes longer.

  1. Day 1: free diagnosis. We understand what the business needs and agree on one price.
  2. Days 2–4: structure and content. We plan the pages and collect texts, photos and the logo.
  3. Days 5–10: design and build. We code the site and connect forms, WhatsApp and Google Analytics.
  4. Days 11–14: testing and launch. We test on mobile and desktop, submit to Google and hand over access.

Examples of websites built by Nava Digital

You can judge the quality on Lumière, a full demo website for a dental clinic that we built from scratch in Hebrew and Arabic.

It has a dark mode, an appointment form and a design built without a template. On the e-commerce side we built Roselia, a beauty store with more than 12,000 products and an AI shopping assistant. Both are real, live examples you can open and test on your phone, including loading speed.
